Our Philosophy
To build a quality early childhood program and successfully implement curriculum,
it is critical that staff receive quality professional development. Training
provides the vehicle for professional growth and continuous program improvement
by empowering staff with information, feedback, and time for reflection.
At HighReach Learning, we believe that professional development
is most effective when it includes the following components:

How We Help Programs Achieve Their Staff Development Goals
The HighReach Learning training department offers many services
that help programs implement all of the HighReach Learning curricula.
We also offer an array of professional development workshops and
consulting services. The services are designed to help programs
integrate and support their ongoing professional development plans.
We offer:
- On-site, customized professional development
- Customized sessions at our Training Center in Charlotte, NC
- Staff Development workshops
- Consulting and technical assistance services
- Keynote speeches by invitation
All HighReach Learning staff development and training sessions are hands-on, practical, highly interactive, and based on sound principles of adult learning. The sessions provide participants with practical strategies designed to work in the classroom.
All staff development and training programs are provided by our educated
and experienced staff. All of our trainers are based in our Charlotte office
and have exclusive rights to HighReach training. Only our trainers are endorsed
to conduct training on the HighReach Learning curricula.
HighReach Learning Professional Development Services are used by:
- Head Start programs
- Pre-K programs
- Private and public child care centers
- State pre-K initiatives
- Resource and Referral agencies
- Child Care Associations
