In recognition of the important civic and philanthropic contributions
made by foreign-owned businesses to our state, the North Carolina
Department of Commerce each year presents three companies with
The North Carolina International Community and Economic Development
Award. On November 16, 2006, HighReach Learning was awarded
the International Community & Economic Development Award for
Small Business. HighReach Learning's philanthropic efforts include
supply drives and monthly bake sales for Classroom Central and
assisting a child care center destroyed by Hurricane Katrina
rebuild.
